Clinical Training & Hospital Exposure

We emphasize rigorous and immersive clinical training as an integral part of our nursing education. Our students gain hands-on experience at some of the most reputed healthcare institutions, including SCB Medical College & Hospital, Cuttack, Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar, and Municipality Hospital, Bhubaneswar. In addition, community-based training is conducted at CHC Jatni, offering students real-time exposure to primary healthcare delivery and public health practices.

To ensure students remain abreast of the latest advancements in the healthcare sector, we organize regular visits to specialized hospitals and super-specialty centers. These exposure visits allow students to observe cutting-edge medical technologies, advanced treatment protocols, and multidisciplinary care approaches in action.

Our clinical training program is structured to develop critical clinical skills, professional competence, and compassionate patient care, preparing our students to excel in both hospital and community health settings.

Such experiences not only broaden the students’ perspectives but also nurture empathy, social awareness, and a deeper understanding of the human aspects of healthcare.

Educational Visits & Community Outreach

We believe in holistic education that extends beyond the classroom. As part of their practical learning and community engagement, our students participate in a variety of educational visits and outreach activities.

To enhance their understanding of public health, hygiene, and nutrition, students visited the OMFED Milk Production Centre in Bhubaneswar and the Bhubaneswar Water Works (Water Purification Plant). These visits provided valuable insights into food safety, sanitation, and the importance of clean water in public health.

In alignment with our commitment to social responsibility, students also engaged in compassionate community service by visiting various social welfare institutions. These included the Old Age Home in Cuttack, the Bhima Bhoi Blind School in Bhubaneswar, and Chetana, a shelter for orphaned children. During these visits, students interacted with the residents, gained awareness of their unique needs, and distributed essential items and gifts, bringing smiles and a sense of care to those they served.
